We are participating in Project Feederwatch and today we set up our bird feeders.
The kids are hopeful that we will see: chickadees, blue jays, grackles, woodpeckers, or nuthatches at our feeders.
We were very surprised to learn that there is a science to bird feeders and certain types of feeders and seeds attract specific types of birds.

We didn't do the bird watch this year, but hopefully will participate next year.
