I started using, Little Kids...Draw! by Teacher's Friend Publications a few weeks ago. It is for early learners and includes simple patterns for developing drawing and writing skills. It is something I can use with both my pre-k 3 and Kindergarten students. 
In their first lesson, the boys followed the 6 step illustrated instructions to create a cat.
G-man's is on top, followed by Bear's.
