Montessori Math: Spindle Box

Pumpkin had her turn with the spindle box today. She did very well counting using one-to-one correspondence, but started to loose concentration at numerals 8 and 9. There is a good video showing the method for teaching with the spindle box here.
We also used flashcards to review numerals 1-12. Since Pumpkin also enjoys coloring and creating books I hope to begin working on a counting book with her this week.
